Sign up for When God Goes to Starbucks Book Study
Starting July 12, we will be having an 8-week apologetics book study using Paul Copan’s book When God Goes to Starbucks (more info on the book below). We will be meeting once a week on Sundays at 6:30pm via Zoom. After signing up you will receive an invitation to the Zoom meeting.
From the Back Cover:
Guidance for those deep coffeehouse conversations about God
What do you say when someone raises tough objections to the Christian worldview, like
•Why not just look out for yourself?
•Isn’t it okay to do whatever you want as long as you don’t hurt anyone?
•Is it ever okay to lie?
•Aren’t some people born gay?
•Do people really believe miracles happen?
•Aren’t the Bible’s holy wars just like Islamic Jihad?
In When God Goes to Starbucks, renowned apologetics expert Paul Copan tackles these and other vexing questions. He offers wise and relevant answers that will not only help you clarify your own beliefs but empower you to articulate those beliefs to others.

COVID-19 Update, May 31, 2020
COVID-19 Update May 31, 2020: Unless communicated otherwise, all in-person events are cancelled indefinitely. The church has started allowing a group of less than 10 people gather in-person for Sunday morning services in compliance with the current NJ executive orders. If you are interested in attending in-person, please contact us and get the go-ahead first. If you do not get approval first, unfortunately you will be turned away. We cannot currently exceed an in-person capacity of 10 people and thus are rotating those who worship in-person.
Those who are registered to come in person are required to wear masks, must maintain a distance at least 6 feet from one another unless in the same household or family, and refrain from physical contact with others (such as hugging and handshakes).
Although NJ is allowing outside gatherings of 25 people or less, due to the complexity of having an outside gathering that is also attended on-line, the Pastor has decided to not exercise this option.
We will continue to offer Zoom and other online options for Sunday morning worship, Wednesday prayer meeting, and the Friday men’s group for the foreseeable future, even as restrictions are lifted. We want to ensure that all members and attenders are able to participate online, since many will choose not to return to in-person meetings or gatherings for quite some time.
Wednesday Prayer Meeting – Zoom
This Wednesday we will have our prayer meeting on Zoom at 7:00pm. Download the app if you haven’t already. Once again, all in-person events are canceled indefinitely. Do not go to the church building. Instead connect via Zoom. Details are below.
