At Living Gospel Baptist Church, we are a part of the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC). This means that we can cooperate with many churches throughout the U.S. for a common goal of sharing the Gospel. The North American Mission Board (NAMB), which is a part of SBC, has started a relief effort to help those affected by Hurricane Harvey. Churches all across the nation can pool their resources together and help those in time of need. NAMB has set up an online giving tool. If you want to give to those who are affected by Hurricane Harvey, click here.
Labor Day Outreach Opportunity!
We’ll pass out water, popcorn, and gospel tracts to street fair attenders on Sept. 4th from 9am-4pm. Please see Sarai to sign up for a time slot.
There will be no Monday prayer meeting at the church this week due to Pastor Dennis and Elaine traveling. We want to encourage you to spend that time praying wherever you are. Please continue to pray for our church in reaching those in our community who don’t know Jesus.
Living Gospel has a couple of new events coming up in the next few weeks to mark on your calendar.
We’ll be passing out water, popcorn, gospel tracts, and church info to people attending the Rutherford Street Fair. The fair is on Park Avenue, and we’ll be manning a table in front of the church on W Passaic. Sign up with Sarai to man a specific time, or contact us if you are interested.
If you’re not already involved in Sunday School class, now is the time to get plugged in! See the Sunday School page for more details.
