Many will be traveling during the next few weeks. Living Gospel will continue to have worship services on Sunday mornings; however, there are some changes to other regular events:
Tomorrow we continue fasting and praying as a church on Mondays throughout November and December. Here is the bulletin insert that contains more information on fasting. Fasting will be different for different people, and it may not mean not eating the whole day. It could mean skipping a meal or pushing off the start of a meal until later to spend more time in prayer.
The church will be having its annual Christmas dinner one week from today, December 3 at 5:00 pm. If you would like to bring a dish, or if you would like to contribute monetarily, please contact Sarai via the Facebook page or by email at info@livinggospelbc.com.

On Wednesday, November 22, we will have our annual Thanksgiving Eve Dinner. It will be potluck style. If you would like to bring something, please see Sarai or sign up in the foyer by the sanctuary.
Our church is participating in Operation Christmas Child this year. The last day to turn in your shoe box is Wednesday night (11/15/17).
Remember: Candy, toothpaste, or any liquids are NOT ALLOWED in the shoe boxes.
Just as a reminder, we are asking church members to spend some time fasting Mondays throughout November and December. Their are a variety of kinds of fasting, so do your research. Whether it is for one meal today or the entire day, we encourage you to fast and pray with us.
“Whenever you fast, don’t be gloomy like the hypocrites. For they make their faces unattractive so that their fasting is obvious to people. Truly I tell you, they have their reward. But when you fast, put oil on your head and wash your face, so that your fasting isn’t obvious to others but to your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.” Matthew 6:16-18
